Wheres a good place to find an original record player from the 70′s or 80′s?
I don’t mean the reproduction ones you can find at Target (those are combination CD players and record players I believe; not what I want). I’m talking about the one’s everyone had in the 1970′s and 80′s-your parents probably had one!
And no, I don’t want one from eBay…I would be afraid I’d buy a crappy one, sounds risky.
I’ve been hoping to find one in a thrift store around my hometown, but so far with no luck. So if anyone can suggest a music store or anyplace that might have a real working originally from the 70′s or 80s record player, please tell me!!
By the way, Im in the Northern Virginia area, so if you know a store around there, that would be fantastic!!!

I have a Technics one and an Aiwa.
Have not used them or the vynil records for ages, since 1988 to be exact…. and I do have a large collections. now they just fill the bookshelves of my library.
Maybe you could contact the distributers of technics, matsushita electronics, Panasonic etc… they might still have some in their warehouses…
