Problem connecting Powerline Inverter to Portable DVD player?
I have a Venturer Portable DVD player and I have no cables for it – borrowed it from a friend who lost her adapter. I bought the Powerline DC to AC Inverter to use on a car trip. But none of the cables can connect to the DVD player. What cable do I need for the spot on the DVD player where it says “DC in”? I just don’t understand how I am supposed to connect the Powerline Inverter to the DVD player – am I missing a wire?
If you connect the AC output of the inverter to the DC input of the DVD player, you’ll damage the DVD player and possible the inverter. If the DVD player has an AC cord, just plug it into the inverter. If not, see if the DC input is 12 volts. If so, just connect to your car’s 12 volt electrical system.
